Counselling that begins with feeling heard

Working Together

Finding the right counsellor can feel daunting, and it’s important that the relationship feels right for you.

I offer a warm, supportive space where you can talk openly about the difficulties and challenges you are facing - whether you’re feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope, stuck, anxious, or simply needing someone to listen.

We’ll move at your pace, exploring and working on what matters most to you, and building a trusting relationship where you feel heard, understood, and supported.

I can work online or if you prefer we can meet face to face at my therapy room in Elgin, Moray (UK).

Next Steps

Taking the next step

Step 1 -  Let's have a chat

If you are ready, we can arrange an initial free introductory call (around 10 minutes or so) for you to ask questions, discuss what you are looking for and how we might work together. â€‹â€‹â€‹

Just get in touch and I will try to get back to you within 24 hours (Monday - Thursday).

Step 2 - Our First Session

Before our first session, I’ll ask you to complete a few simple forms so I have your contact details and a little more background information.

Sessions are £45 / hour payable at the end of each appointment by cash or bank transfer.

When we meet, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other, talking about what you’re hoping to get from counselling, and then start exploring whatever feels most important to you.

Step 3 - Future sessions

You’re not tied into a specific number of sessions, and appointments can be arranged weekly or fortnightly. â€‹

Around every six sessions, we’ll take time to reflect on how things are going, making sure the work continues to feel helpful and right for you.
